The RAE Systems UltraRAE 3000+ is a high-performance portable Photoionisation Detector (PID) designed for the selective detection of benzene, butadiene and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). Combining industry-leading PID technology with compound-specific analysis, the UltraRAE 3000+ is the ideal instrument for hazardous area monitoring, refinery maintenance, petrochemical facilities, environmental investigations and emergency response.

Unlike conventional PID gas detectors that measure total VOCs, the UltraRAE 3000+ can accurately distinguish benzene from other hydrocarbons using RAE-Sep™ separation tube technology. This enables users to carry out rapid compound-specific measurements while maintaining the flexibility to switch instantly back to total VOC monitoring.

With an extended detection range from 0.01 ppm to 10,000 ppm in VOC mode and benzene detection down to 10 ppb, the UltraRAE 3000+ provides exceptional sensitivity for occupational hygiene, leak detection and hazardous material response. Fast response times, wireless connectivity and a rugged IP65-rated enclosure make it one of the most capable PID instruments available.
